I was in a very tough spot in life and had to reconcile my 'negative' bank account. There was no one to help. No one can help. The opponent was me. I had to 'Get Up!' I had to keep saying that over and over until a new belief formed. And then that belief informed a set of actions, like making the drawing here, and then the making of this shirt as a figurative 'coach'.
Keep fighting. Keep believing. It's all you truly have.

On the reverse side of the shirt, the artist's signature is placed into a motif inspired by his first professional tennis racquet, the Wilson Ultra 2. This practice echoes the 1980’s trend where designers added their name to apparel as a mark of high design and quality.

This garment was made using sustainable manufacturing processes with Blue Sign certified dyes, efficient dye houses that adhere to the state of California’s EPA regulations around waste water treatment and usage, and cutting facilities in Los Angeles that run on partial solar power with comprehensive recycling programs for paper waste and fabric scraps.
Taking every opportunity we can to reduce our co2 emissions. We use 7x less water than average clothing manufacturers, and our manufacturing facilities produce almost no landfill because we recycle pretty much everything that can't be turned into a tee.
