Imagine a sweatshirt that can show a play in real time. It’s here.
I wanted to make a design that showed a shot on goal play unfold in real time. On the front is the star forward who has already shot the ball. And in about the same time as the ball would travel through the air, a viewer would rotate to the back where the graphic depicts a goalie in the sky about to making a dive on that shot.
This is all on a black sweatshirt to emulate die-hard players in a night game. The quiet of the night and the ball silently whizzing through the air, where it hits the back of the net with a crisp authority.

Each shirt is a work of art utilizing the fabric as a canvas. On the reverse side of the shirt, the artist's signature is placed into a motif inspired by his first professional tennis racquet, the Wilson Ultra 2. This practice echoes the 1980’s trend where designers added their name to apparel as a mark of high design and quality.
